Can't wait to meet you!

A little bit of history...

Valley Springs was inhabited in early America by the Miwok Indians. There are more than 100 documented Sierra Miwok villages. From 1828 to 1837 the Miwok villages were invaded by Jedediah Smith and members of the Hudson Bay Company, fur choppers. By the year 1948 the traditional Miwok life-ways were fading with the influx of Euro-American, Mexican, Chinese and the discovery of Gold.

The ranch became a stage stop on the old San Andreas trail, which runs through the property. Visible traces of the trail can still be detected in neighboring hillsides and dipping and weaving through the old creek beds.

Meet Our Family

In September 2019, we found the ranch of our dreams and

fell in love with the endless possibilities!

For 12 years, we have worked together in the wedding industry as cinematographers, we always told each other that by our 10th year wedding anniversary, we would renew our vows on our own ranch with our children. We never stopped working toward our dream.

The ranch has become a labor of love for our family and friends to share

whether it's weddings, community or youth events, we share all the beauty this ranch has to offer with you!

With Love,

The Gaitans
